Challenge any player on the ladder, or post an open challenge that anyone can claim. You pick the format, the course and the conditions.
Once everyone accepts, the match is set up in GSPro as an 18-hole event. Play it within a week and the result and points update on their own.
Everyone starts at 1500. Points are Elo-rated: beat someone ranked above you and you gain more, lose to someone below you and you drop more. Up to 32 points change hands per match, and a tie splits the difference.
Team matches use each team's average. You're ranked once you've finished 5 matches. Until then you're listed under Provisional, so one lucky win can't top the ladder.
No opponent in mind? Post an open challenge. It sits on the Open tab and in the Discord ladder channel for 2 days. Open challenges are gross, with no strokes.
Claim a 1v1 and the match starts right away. For a team challenge, both partners accept first. A claimer's partner has 24 hours, or it goes back on the board.
1v1, or teams of two in Scramble, Alt-Shot, Best Ball or Team Stroke. Every format can be match play or stroke play.
When you challenge specific players you can give strokes, so players of any level get a fair match.
